Analysts Expect a 26 BCF Injection of Natural Gas Into Storage

With cold weather leading to an increase in heating demand, analysts expect a the Energy Information Agency to report a draw of approximately 26 billion cubic feet of natural gas from storage. This estimate falls short of the average five year draw for this week of 36 BCF. Assuming the actuals are in line with the estimate, storage will sit at about 9% above the five-year average. During the week of the 12th, inventories hit a record high of 3.8 trillion cubic feet, then we saw the first withdrawal of the season last week.
